Reminder about the Lost Johns trip on 17th November
8th December - Long Churn to Dollytubs (+Alum?)
Andy Robinson is leading a trip down Long Churn to Dollytubs on 8th December. He does not realise he is leading yet, so don't let on!
Taking advantage of this Steve Bell has come over all starry eyed and suggested an Alum North West route (that's the approx 200 ft rope straight to the bottom).
STOP PRESS: KP is coming out of retirement to join us on this trip; though he was a little reticent to commit himself to abseiling in through Diccan (pull through of course) and self lining up a ladder placed down the Alum North West route. Whatever happened to the spirit of the Grotta di Monte Cucco/Comici?

It is true that I am coming out of a period of caving inactivity.
It is also true that Grovel did not rise to my challenge with respect to skiing. The new ski centre opens soon next to the Trafford Centre and I shall be arranging a visit. Watch this space
