Stream Passage Trip - Saturday 10 June

Call for volunteers

Advanced announcement of a trip down Stream Passage pot on Saturday 10th June 2006.

The keen and eager section (that’s keen to forget their light and eager not to chaperone geriatrics around caves again) are contemplating a trip down Stream Passage. This will consist of a steady walk up to the Allotment. A gentle swing down some ropes followed by a walk to Main Chamber. Concluding with a leisurely (very slow and steady in my case) prussic out and walk back into Clapham in the setting sun for a quiet pint in the New Inn.

ARE YOU MAN (or woman) ENOUGH TO PARTAKE?

Annual Dinner Update

Hi Everyone

Well we are nearly there, numbers are looking good, so we should be in for a fun night. Juan has kindly offered to give a Matienzo film show for the after dinner entertainment.

See you Saturday

Regards

Tony

PS Turns out that its only £16.50 a head, so thats a £1 refund towards the drink fund!

More Caving Trips

It is the Annual dinner of MUSS this weekend.

MUSS used to stand for Manchester University Speleological Society so we really ought to go underground - that's caving not the transport system in London!

I have had a suggestion of Stream Passage by some not very young, nor keen, but especially foolish person. I understand that Dave Salamen and John Bown are forming a hard core of members planning to go down Long Churn. (When I say hard core I mean they are forming the core, not that they are hard!)

Any suggestions? Meeting times? Etc

Don't let MUSS mean Mainly Useless, Senior and Senile
